DANNY MURPHY has been our Managing Director and Environmental Health and Safety Officer since 2005.
Danny is a Civil Engineer graduating from NUIG in 1992, continuing his studies with a Masters of Engineering Science through research in bituminuous materials in 1996 and an MBA in 2000. Throughout the years Danny has achieved further diploma awards and continually strives to keep up to date with the latest products and processes available to the Road Marking & Construction Industry.
Danny is qualified to fulfill the role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage, Project Supervisor Design Process, Design Traffic Management Plans and Environmental Health and Safety Officer. He has been appointed to various national committees as a representative of the Construction Industry Federation to advise and contribute on traffic management documents/specification/legislation changes.

LINDA MURPHY has been with Highway Markings Ltd since 2000, having previously been employed in various Administrator roles since 1993. She holds the position of Financial Director and Office Manager.
Linda completed a Secretarial course in 1993 and went on to complete an Accounting Technician Part Time course in the Institute of Technology, Tallaght in 1995. In 2004 she achieved a Professional Certificate in Management through the Open University.
Linda’s duties involve Administrative Staff Management, preparation and management of the financial accounts and payroll, management and monitoring of the Quality Management System, recruitment requirements, liaising with our Insurance Broker and fulfilling Highway Markings Ltd tax requirements.

PAUL MURPHY fills the role of Technical Director and has been with Highway Markings Ltd since 2005. He previously held the position of Maintenance Technician & Engineer with Fujitsu Microelectronics, followed by the position of Test Analysis Engineer with IBM Ireland.
Paul qualified in Electronic Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Athlone in 1991 and Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Tallaght in 1997. Furthermore he has since achieved both a Bsc and MEng in Electronics from the Open University.
Paul’s engineering experience has provided Highway Markings Ltd with the ability to act as Service Agents for Ireland and the UK for the SolarTech brand of VMS. He is involved with training of staff, and acts as Senior Site Supervisor for Screed works and Water Blasting on National and Local projects.

FRAN MURPHY takes on the role of Contracts Manager, having been with Highway Markings Ltd since 1995.
Fran obtained his Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1995 from the Institute of Carlow. He has since completed the Management Safely in Construction Course and a Traffic Management Design Course. He is involved in the training and development of all new staff and continually provides additional training to existing staff.
Fran has gained invaluable experience during his time at Highway Markings Ltd, having acted as Senior Site Supervisor on various National Delineation Contracts. He is fully trained to supervise all activities carried out by the company.

PHILIP BOYLE has been employed by Highway Markings Ltd since 2003 as our VMS Fleet Technician. Philip had previously worked for Highway Markings Ltd in our Road Marking Division.
Philip’s role within Highway Markings Ltd is to manage the delivery, collection and day to day maintenance of our Variable Message Sign Fleet. Philip liaises directly with Customers, our Technical Director and Office Manager and ensures that our VMS fleet is fully functioning at all times, delivered and set up in accordance with the Client’s requirements.
Philip manages any remote programming requirements for clients when the situation arises, in particular when an event is being run, where new information needs to be conveyed as a matter of urgency.
